[bksvol-discuss] Submission formats are barriers to validation

Hi, all! Elizabeth! I'm in agreement with you! More gardening books and
I'd love to see Grow the Best Tomatoes validated. I'd enjoy validating
it myself but the submission format is ARK. So far as I know Kurzweil
doesn't read Freedom Scientific's format, so I'm stuck! Here's the point
of my message: I know we're asked to submit books in KES or ARK formats,
but I think this limits the number of people who can validate those
books. I'd much prefer to see book submitted in RTF. Since RTF retains
formatting, can someone educate me on the virtues of using KES or ARK
formats instead?
