I bought a Kindle keyboard a while back and here's what I learned about reading books on it.

Navigating a book before starting text-to-speech.
Use the next or previous keys to navigate by page.
Use the left or right arrows on the 5-way controler to navigate by chapter.
To navigate to the beginning or end of book, press menu, select go to, use the
5-way controler to select beginning or end of book.
Press shift plus sym to start text-to-speech.
Press space bar to pause or resume text-to=-speech.

Navigating a book after starting text-to=-speech.
Press back to turn off text-to-speech.

If I want to replay a passage I have just read, while text-to-speech is
playing, press back, Press shift plus symbol. The Kindle will reread the
passage.

If I want to replay several passages back, press back, press previous page,
press shift plus symbol to begin reading
again.

If I want to take a break from reading or receive a phone call etc. Press
back, put the Kindle to sleep. When I'm ready to resume reading, I turn on
the Kindle, Press shift plus symbol.

Hi Sue. Sorry to say that the kindle is minimally accessible. The only
thing you can do is start and stop the text-to-speech reading. The PC
software version does a little more but no Braille display support.

Hi Julia,

Are you saying that a Kindle is accessible? Or is that just for audio? I
mean, could a Braille display access a Kindle?

Hi Lisa.
If you need help with your Kindle version of the new Goodkind book, let
me know.

Hi Sister Dolores,

That is so awesome! Terry Goodkind wrote this series called the Sword
of Truth Series. It's about a woods guide who finds out that he is
really a wizard, and has to save his world from evil. In the Sword of
Truth, there is a class of females called confessors. Confessors have
the power to make anyone they touch fall in love with them devotedly,
to the extent that they would do anything. This book I believe is
about the first confessor. If you scan it, let me know, and I would
love to proof it for you.

Thanks,
Lisa

Hi, Lisa,

The title sounds interesting; what's the book about? Perhaps I could
scan it. Just tell me something about it.
