Hmmmm, I don't see why you'd need some kind of punctuation after the book title if the series title is in parentheses.

I agree with Roger.----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger Loran Bailey" <rogerbailey81@xxxxxxx>To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, November 08, 2008 11:38 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Requesting Member Feedback: Series TitlesI vote for option B. I prefer the series title in parentheses, but whether parentheses are used or not some kind of punctuation really has to be there so we can tell when the title ends and the series title begins. Whether the number sign is there or not does not matter to me.On Fri, Nov 7, 2008 at 10:02 PM, Allison Hilliker <hillikera@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:Hi everyone, I'd like to learn which sort of format you all most like to see seriesinfo written in. As I input data for all the pq books, I'm filling in a lot of series titles and book numbers. I usually do it a certain way, but Ithought I would ask what everyone prefers. I have a couple of questions for you all, and you may write me on or off list with your answers. allisonh@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Keep in mind that I'm not looking to set up any sort of Bookshare requirement for writing series titles. This is just for my own personalknowledge as I work on the pq books. If someone already has a way they liketo do it, he or she can definitely still do so. QUESTIONS: 1. Which of the below do you like best? a. Title (Series Name, then the word series, #1). b. Title (Series name Book #1).2. Do you prefer some punctuation after the book title in order to separateit from the series info?3. Do you like when the number sign (#) is inserted before the book number?I imagine that I'll likely get a lot of differing opinions, but I'll try togo with what's most popular. Remember, this is just for the books whose titles I happen to edit, not something that will apply to all titles. I look forward to your input.
