HI E.

        Hard line breaks are obnoxious in prose, but as this book is poetry,
those hard line breaks are the only way that the proper line-length of lines
of poetry can be preserved.

If you use the settings to respect ends of lines you get hard line 
breaks I believe. If you try a page and get hard linebreaks, you will 
know. Hard line breaks are obnoxious.
