As for "Digging nine mega mines in the **Galilee** basin for exportation of
millions of tonnes of coal, drilling coal seam gas wells all over the
country, etc is wrong from multiple points of view, not least simple
economics.", where does one begin?
WRONG by what measure? If it weren't for the use of natural resources, we
would still be swing through the trees. As for economics, coal is the least
expensive energy on the planet, although nuclear is not far behind. It's
one tenth the cost of those environmental disasters called wind turbines,
and one seventh the cost of solar panels, and a dozen times more
environmentally friendly.
