Yep, just caught up on the podcasts since you mentioned it, he has two of them,
He has the archives up and have been grabbing files. If you use your mac
here’s how you do the download.

Find the podcast you want, then control option command f5 to mouse over the
actual introductory link, then hold option down and hit the return key. Wait a
few seconds, they load sometimes. Then you can do option command l and bring
up your downloads window instead of going back out of where you are. Interact
in the downloads table and it will probably say bcd something or other. Then
interact in to that and you can get the info on how it’s downloading. If it
says “show in finder” along to the right between the two progress tickers, then
it’s probably already done.

Hit escape to get out of downloads table, you will likely still be where you
were.

Also don’t forget the alternate navigation of VO u then you can toggle around
to links, or whatever else. Sometimes that is faster on such a large archive.
You won’t get the descriptions, but if a link title interests you just Vo space
bar and you are on the link back in the page itself. Then you can read the
description etc. Might be a little less clunky than going through 6 years of
podcasts especially if you are interested in ones in the middle *lol*.

Better grab them and store them while you can. Most people thought those
archives would be around a long time, and they weren’t. I don’t know if Rick
has them all yet though, but it’s looking like he’s made some major progress,
and or was able to get the old links pointed back right. I got one that I
haven’t been able to get from BCT for years now. I had a copy of it some place
around here, but since I hadn’t found it, wasn’t sure what condition it would
be in when I did find it. So this boy will be doing the 10 downloads a day.
But I also plan to help him out via donation too. BCT helped a lot of people
entertained more, and energized a lot of people to get involved with podcasting
too. Yes some of the technology things are out of date, but Best Of The Bang
could never be out of date *lol*. Find it and listen to that one. Especially
the middle and ending sections. That was one that covered years, but as they
got older they recorded more interesting things that went boom!

Or maybe it’s just that I never grew up and am easily entertained again.
