I have never found Total Recorder to be JAWS friendly.
If anybody can tell me how to make it interact with JAWS, I may make the
investment, though I think the price is steep and I know my wife will raise
Cain over the price.

Wel, as far as I no, audacity does not really have a skedular or maybe not a
good one, so I suggest you try total recorder, its not that expensive, or
sonarka sound recorder, its a bit cheaper but if you use the jaws curser it
will work. Total recorder have a very powerful skedular and it record
directly in mp3 or other formats. No need to export the file, that's why I
also use that alot when I don't need editing and need a quick recording.
