Ah. I thought "saturation" either maintained saturation, or increased the
saturation. And in the latter case, I thought it increased the saturation
globally, and by a given "percentage". I didn't know it would map
the extremeties of the source gamut to the extremeties of the destination
gamut in that fashion. :)
