Hi,

The seed number should have been printed on the rightmost edge of the printed testchart, and be visible in the TIFF.

If you're going to recreate the files in a new directory, you only need the .ti1 file. Printtarg will create a .ti2 file from that (use -R with the seed number read from the chart)
Then use chartread to create a new .ti3 from the .ti2.

All the best

Also, how do I find the seed number?

I don't suppose there's a way to recreate the correct ti2 file and then
regenerate the profile?

Yes, there should be a seed number printed on the profile. If you feed that
into printtarg -R
with exactly the same other parameters (ie. type of instrument, page size
etc.)
than you should get the matching .ti2 as well as a duplicated .ps/.tiff
file.
