APT = Advanced Packaging Tool. It's what Apple and Android copied when
they implemented the system where you can select software from a
online library for automatic installation on your platform, i.e. it's
automatically installing and updating software on your computer if
you're running a Debian-based operating system. Everything from system
libraries to Argyll are kept up-to-date.
