I have once compiled a DOS port of Lynx with OpenSSL support, so I know that it works with DJGPP. I have just looked at the source code to find out whether it supports any 16bit targets, but apparently it doesn't. The system requirements list both Perl 5 (which is available for DOS) and "a Unix operating system", however, it also compiles on Windows. The Win32 target supports Borland C/C++ 5.0, so at least there is some hope that compilation could be adapted to BC 4.x or even BC 3.x. > Do you even have the > time, what with your involvement in Enhanced DR-DOS ? Probably not, I hardly have any time to work on Enhanced DR-DOS at the moment, let alone other projects.
