You can adjust your auto density settings to give you a bit more. Drop each of
the values by .2 as a start. Also go to a zig zag underlay at 12-14 density
and 60% width.

  Ron,

You are just a wealth of wisdom! Can you tell this is my first year? LOL!!
  Kind of obvious, isn't it?
I have learned sooooooooo much from this board.
  Off to change density.

I'll let you know how it works.
In the past I have not been really impressed with the auto density feature.
Have you had good luck with it?

    Do you have design shop?
I am wondering if you could use the auto outline function
and use a density of 5 or 6 and make the lettering and outline
the same color as the fleece then duplicate just the lettering
and sew it over the now matted down fleece in the contrasting color
you chose. and the top letters like Roland said, I wouldn't use lower than
4 density. you just need to get the fleece to pull back and allow you to
    see the embroidered lettering.

You might give it a try, and if you have the skill you could just use the
outline portion
and not the fill for the under base part. I would also use a zigzag stitch
for the underlay.

    Good luck.

      Herb,

I tried a MT that high and the thread was bouncing all over the place!
I've got the cut away and the solvy, too.
Font is Juliette Script, one inch high, added a center walk and increased
pull comp to 180%.
The letters are just getting lost in the fleece! I can't figure it out.
Oh, the density is set at 2.8.
      Any suggestions??

      Thanks..

top. Used 15 cm hoop. Will be here if you need help.
