I did my first visor job a few weeks ago. I did not use the cap frame.
Instead I used my slimline clamp with adhesive backing. I stuck the visor down
flat with the two sides and bill under the clamp and the top of the visor held
down flat to the adhesive backing. In DesignShop I raised the letters on
either side of the middle letter a little higher, stair stepping them just
slightly on both sides. After a few tries I found the level each letter needed
to be at to appear straight once sewed out on the visor. If you have the
slimline frame I would suggest trying this as it worked for me!
