This will incourage more trims when there are jump stitches. Click on "Settings", and then in the "Settings" Tab, it's right in the middle of the window. This could be a result in the settings in the length of your digitizer's jump stitches. If his/her jump stitches are longer than your previous digitizer, then you would have fewer jump stitches in any length of thread in the design and if the jump stitch quanitity doesn't meet or exceed 3, then they won't be converted into a trim by the Amaya OS software. Give it a shot.
