Hello,

Just to add to that, George and Joe, when I formatted my hard drive about
four months ago, as soon as I got online and before I had time to update my
anti-virus

Definitions and go thru the Microsoft Windows Update process, the W32
Blaster virus managed to hit my computer so I couldn't stay online for more
than 2 minutes. I don't know if that is still relevant, however, if it
happens it is not a huge problem but it is a bloody irritating. Particularly
when you have a long to do list after formatting to get your system back to
normal. So I reckon it is wise to have the Blaster virus removal tool and
the Windows critical update for that handy before formatting.

Joe, I keep a copy of almost everything I download off the net on my HD, so
I can send you the tool and the Win update off list if that is easier for
you than tracking them from the net. The only thing I'm not sure about is
whether you can actually install on your system a Windows update someone
else downloaded it.

Cheers,

Amro
