Hi Carol, They will be up on the web site tomorrow. It is basically a black Bluetooth cap with bone conduction speakers. You have to get the speakers just right behind and above the ear, but once you do, they are great. Cost £60.00 from us and as I say will be availabletomorrow. My assistant, Emma wears one for her own personal use and is very much a woman <Big Smile>. She is also sighted and says they look good too.All the best Steve -- Computer Room Services 77 Exeter Close Stevenage Hertfordshire SG1 4PW Tel: +44(0)1438-742286 Mob: +44(0)7956-334938 Fax: +44(0)1438-759589 Email: steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Web: http://www.comproom.co.uk -----Original Message-----From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Ofcarol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: 27 September 2014 16:33 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: RNIB Overdrive subscriptionWhat's the cap like, by the way? Would it suit women and/or men? Any detailsof its make and price would be useful, or a web site, please. Finally, do the speakers make it a bit heavy on your head? But we have taken out one OverDrive subscription to share between us. If we prefer this, we will eventuallytransfer our Talking Books subscriptions to OverDrive, but have no intention of doing so for now until everything settles down and works the way we want it to. But for #50 a year, I can't complain. We share an Audible plan, sohave plenty to keep us going. It is a pity the whole system does not work the same for everyone though.
