Well Andy, after you followed the steps Lyn suggested, did you run IE and clicked on make IE my default browser? Another way is to go to IE/Tools/Internet Options, on the Programs page, tap few times and tick the box that says Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser. So the next time you run IE you get asked whether you want to make IE your default browser...

Hope that works.

Lyn - not quite working, because having done this and rebooted, if I click
on a link in an email for example, Firefox ratehr than IE still opens! -

| Andy,
| Go to internet explorer proprieties by hitting alt+enter on internet
explorer. Then go to the "programs" tab and tab about 7 times until you hear
"tell me if internet explorer is not the default web browser", check that
box and tab once and click on "make default". You should be good to
go...Hope this helps.
