Hi Adrian I think 3GB would be more than enough. If you are running Vista with screen reader applications then you are probably better with more if you have the option at the outset. If, however, you have the opportunity to have 3GB, I would go for it. I am interested in the toshiba equium 210, does any body use this laptop? What is it like? I am also seriously looking at the toshiba satellite 300d, this has 2 gb ram and if I order it I will upgrade to 3 gb of ram, is 2 gb sufficient to run vista and hal and all my other programs? Would I be better with the 3 gb? Lastly, being in France, not many companies over here will supply me with a laptop with english keyboard or windows. Therefore I have to purchase from the UK. I know of play.com, laptops direct and pcworld, would you guys be able to recommend some other companies to me please.
