Hi Ibrahim. Thanks for responding to my request so promptly. It is indeed a nice feeling to know that if we have a problem, there is always someone out there who will try to help. I am having a good look at it now, it sounds a good programme. I have just another couple of questions if you don't mind. 1. Do you know if there is anyway of scheduling it? 2. Do I have to register it, if so, I can't find where to do it? 3. I also can't find out where to purchase it from, or how much? I have managed to put the 1 stop button on the desktop, so I no longer have to see the original interface. My first reaction is that the programme is too good to be true, and is very blind friendly. Thanks once again. Bill. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ibrahim Gucukoglu To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, April 28, 2009 3:07 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Del Software Hi Bill. Don't bother with the main interface, you can launch the utilities from the BoostSpeed menu group in the start menu. Is there anything specific you are trying to do? For a simple rundown and general optimisation of your system you can use the one button checkup tool, but if you want to do more advanced cleaning operations then you'll need to launch the individual utilities which can be customised the way you want. All the best, Ibrahim. PS, if your still having problems I'd be more than happy to talk you through things by phone. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bill Chilcott To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, April 28, 2009 2:41 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Del Software Hi Ibrahim, I have downloaded Auslogics boostspeed, but how can one use it when I cannot get Hal nor Jaws to tell me where the start button is? When I tab, all I get is Details or Task. and entering on any of these does absolutely nothing. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. One of the problems a lot of people have with dell is their persistent installation of what are termed craplets. These programs offer additional functionality you probably won't use, are mostly inaccessible and consume resources which could otherwise be used by your applications and windows to provide you with a faster, smoother and generally more enjoyable experience. Once you've removed the applications, you might like to try Auslogics BoostSpeed which can significantly speed up your machine by removing junk from the registry, defragmenting both registry and hard drive as well as clear junk such as internet traces, cache and temporary files not to mention optimize your memory configuration, speed up internet browsing by adjusting advanced internet parameters and offering a plethora of other tweaks and adjustments you can make. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: Barbara Wilson To: Access-UK Sent: Tuesday, April 28, 2009 10:07 AM Subject: [access-uk] Del Software Hi all I am using a Del desktop PC.
