Hi.
I've been using Avast for about a month now with Jaws 9, and I'm finally
getting to grips with it. I'm just wondering how often Avast users on this
list do a scan. When I go into start Avast from the desktop, I select the
local folders check box, tab and make sure the slider is at 100 percent then
tab to start scan. This seems to take about 3 hours but I guess that's
dependant on how many files you have on a machine. I've worked out how to
read the progress of the scan with the Jaws cursor which is great but I'm
wondering how often to perform this action. Doing a full scan every day
seems a bit excessive, but I'm wondering whether to do it weekly or monthly.
I'd like to get other users opinions on this if that's ok.
