Last from me on this then - I was uncertain about the use of AFB labels, as I hardly use them, indeed, I hardly ever use snail mail these days <smile> so I needed clarification about sending audio books threw the post, having received some that way, legitimately. I initially wondered about using AFB labels with recorded delivery. I have found that asking at the post office counter doesn't always get the up-to-date info, or can be less than factual info, that's why I asked on here to get feedback from people I know use the free postal service. Certainly, I'll not be doing my bit to jeopardise the Articles For The Blind service for others, so rest assured, that I will be posting legally <smile> - Andy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wendy Sharpe" <w.sharpe@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, September 04, 2007 12:57 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: AFB labels | Andy | | For a full description of the articles for the blind rules go to: | | http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/content1?mediaId=19100225&catId=191001 | 77 | | It looks to me as if organisations who have an agreement with the Post | Office can send audio books to blind people using AFB labels, but not | individuals. I often || fear the concession we enjoy now with Articles for the Blind postage || is being somewhat abused, and I'm not sure that dealers in access || products should be using the service as much as they do.
