Yeah. I’m kind of screwing with things like that right now. The other thing
is, in Samplitude, sometimes you find that you are not on the MIDi track you
think you’re on. I thought I was on MIDi track 2 and found I had been bounced
to MIDi track 8. This is not the first time that’s happened. Like I said,
still screwing around.
Do you have TT?

Kevin,
I don't know why, but I noticed this in sonar to, it happens that sometimes
the order of your MIDI devices change without you doing anything. So the
first one becomes whatever it is.
I usually check the all checkbox for every track In my template.
Also, go to your MIDI settings by pressing y, and check what your default
input device is.

JPR,
Checking Alt R twice did solve the problem for tracks that don’t have
Independence on them. No idea why my default template defaults to Transport
as the first option checked by default. I’ll have to screw with that.
Still working on getting any sound out of Independence. More later.

Hi Kevin,
In the VIP Window, choose a MIDI track and press alt are twice, then review
all the settings, especially MIDI inputs to see which one is checked. then,
press alt am twice and do the same for MIDI outputs if no virtual synth is
on the track?
Cheers,

Following up. I pulled up a project that worked a few days ago and it--
still works. I can play MIDi and I can make the project play by pressing
play on my Transport. So, I have no idea what is wrong with any of my
default templates. Still hoping for help.

Guys,
I’ve determined that I've somehow lost MIDi connectivity, I/O in
Samplitude Pro X3 Suite. No idea how. As far as I know, I have the
right MIDi options checked. If anyone plans to be around TT today, let
me know so I can check off other options.
Thanks,
Kevin
