Checking Alt R twice did solve the problem for tracks that don’t have
Independence on them. No idea why my default template defaults to Transport as
the first option checked by default. I’ll have to screw with that. Still
working on getting any sound out of Independence. More later.

Following up. I pulled up a project that worked a few days ago and it still
works. I can play MIDi and I can make the project play by pressing play on
my Transport. So, I have no idea what is wrong with any of my default
templates. Still hoping for help.

Pro X3 Suite. No idea how. As far as I know, I have the right MIDi
