Guys,

Up until recently blind passengers did indeed need to use the airport
check-in, with the airline saying that the extra cost of this would be
refunded upon application.

The booking process has now been modified to include a "special
assistance notification" checkbox, which automatically informs Ryan Air
of the need for assistance and which adds a line to the confirmation
email to reflect the request.

All this means Blind passengers can now use online check-in, provided
they go directly to the company who provide this service at the
departing airport and not to the Ryan Air desks.

You really need to read the "small-print" these days before booking, so
be sure to check the website as the processes tend to change frequently.

Cheers,

Ciaran
