Personal Log
Stardate: 0407.07
Wow, a lot has happened since I last recorded my last log. I know
I've had time to sit down and record in the last month or so, I just
haven't really wanted to. It just didn't feel right. Anyways, we did
find Commander Bass and he has returned to his duties. So, I'm back at
Tactical now. I never really realized how hard being XO was before. I
also never knew how rewarding it could be. I wasn't really sure before
. . . but now I know that I do want to be a Captain some day.
The Commodore has made my field commission permanent. He has also
given me the position of Second Officer.
Our current mission is a little . . . weird. There are these
renegade Klingons attacking ships in the Algo sector. However, the
Klingon Empire says that all ships, including those that are known to
be renegade, are accounted for. At first I thought it was probably
denial. Now I'm not so sure. Commander Bass got in contact with
someone who was supposedly in command of one of the Renegade ships.
The problem is that he wasn't contacting them, he was contacting the
Klingon homeworld. So, now i'm not so sure that the Klingons are in
denial. However, we are also sure that the renegade ships were
correctly Identified. It is definitely a mystery. One I can't wait to
solve!
