Hi Tomas Better sit down.. I have allot of information for you.... about 15
Q&A's

1.) Well I did buy my HP Pavilion 510N about 16 months ago... I immediately
bought another 210 mb chip and installed it...

    I will check it to make sure it is good and installed correctly... If I
understand you correctly.. It could have come loose.. Or may have gone
bad...!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2.) XP came with my computer.. I have not upgraded to any other windows
application....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.) My Warranty ran out 3 months ago.. *figures*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4.) You Wrote:
""Right off the bat it instructs you to run SFC ""
What is the "SFC" and where do I find it???
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
5.) How do I repair "IE 6"????????????
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
6.)  No I don't have a 2nd computer.. Well that's no true.. It is in Iowa...
I live just outside Las Vegas, Nevada
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7.)  As for as:  http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/

It still just shows the top of the page.. And does not show any of the Q&A's
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
8.) As for as: Run the System File checker to replace these two files
(CABINET.DLL and URLMON.DLL).
1. Click "Start," and then click "Run."
2. In the "Run" dialog box, type "SFC /scanonce" (w/o
the quotes), and then click "OK."
I did it... Will inform you as to whether or not it worked
9.) As for: Suggestion 2
Run the Internet Explorer Repair Tool using the
instructions below:
1. Click "Start," point to "Settings," and then click
"Control Panel."
2. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs."
3. On the "Install/Uninstall" tab, click "Microsoft
Internet Explorer."
4. Click "Add/Remove," click "Repair the current
installation of Internet Explorer," and then click
"OK."
I did it Too... I will inform you as to whether or not it worked Too.....
It never gave me the option to repair Internet Explorer, So I made sure that
the Internet Explorer box was checked. But the amount of space for
installation was at "0" where all of the others have number at the end..
Is there another way of repairing Internet Explorer????
10.) When going to:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B1AD2C0A-8CC6-443B-
AB83-F8516C72FAC1&displaylang=en
I got this error Message:
""""The download you requested is unavailable.  If you continue to see this
message when trying to access this download, you might try the "Search for a
Download" area on the Download Center home page.""""
So I went to: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.aspx?displaylang=en
To try and find:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B1AD2C0A-8CC6-443B-
AB83-F8516C72FAC1&displaylang=en
But no luck...
11.) I went to here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.asp
And tried to download the ie6sp 1 Default.asp.... It is downloading now...
Ok.. Bad news.. When the file was finished downloading.. It gave this error
message:  ""Downloaded file can not be saved error: The Device is not
ready.""
So I re-downloaded the file again, but to a different location.. But got the
same results....  *sigh*
This is the error message the 2nd time around:
"""Extracting file failed. It is most likely caused by low memory (low Disk
Space for swapping file) or corrupted Cabinet"""
So I deleted all un-necessary files.. Cleaned my files with Norton
CleanSweep.. Rebooted my computer to insure my 510mb are ready to go... But
it still will not open without an error message of the same type...
13.) Funny thing happened.. I checked my Disk Defragmenter and it says that
I have 228mb of disk space.. So I cleaned it.. And now I have 29 Gigabits..
This has been happening allot lately.. Along with low memory... Is this an
important bit of information for you????
14.)  Something weird just happened.. Maybe this might or might not have
something to do with my problems... A registration window just popped up
asking me to register my computer... Could my computer thinking it isn't
registered.. Be causing all of these problems... I did Register it.. By the
way... FYI...
15.) You instructed me to:  """Secondly, if you are using a proxy server ask
your network administrator to make sure that the proxy server is set to
allow anonymous connections to the Internet."""
I sent them an e-mail just a second ago.. We'll see what they have to
say....
