Regretfully, after much thought and discussion Tony Lance and I decided to call
the February field trip off because of present flooding and the strong
possibility of thunderstorms and rain. We also decided not to have a make-up
date at this time. The early warm weather makes it less likely that many of our
target birds would be out anyway, so trying for later in the month would not be
optimal either.
Thanks to all who would have liked to participate. You are invited to next
month’s March field trip on Saturday the 24th, at Peeler Park Greenway in
Madison, TN. at 7:30 a.m., at the entrance which is at the end of Neely’s Bend
Road.
