The Nashville chapter of TOS will have a field to Memphis this coming Saturday, August 16th.We will depart the lower parking area of Adventure Science Museum at 6:45a sharp. Our destination is the Ensley pits and shorebirds are our target species. This past weekend 7K+ birds were seen there and hopefully some will still be around. A scope would be helpful and be sure to bring water. I know a great Memphis bar-b-que place for lunch. This is an all day trip. We should be back to Nashville around 8pm. Any questions or comments please contact me directly. Let's go see some birds!
