Twenty One birders attended today's NTOS field trip to Fort Campbell in Tn. and Ky. Everyone had great, through the scope, looks at Henslow's and Lark Sparrows. Both of these birds were lifers for several members. Dickcissels and Grasshopper Sparrows were abundant. Most of us got a good look at a stunning male Bobolink. A very special thanks to Daniel Moss for getting us on the base and then guiding us to all the birds. A wonderful day to be afield with great birds and great birders. Gary Casey Kingston Springs, Tn. Talk and walk softly, carry a big scope. =================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBER===================== The TN-Bird Net requires you to sign your messages with first and last name, city (town) and state abbreviation. ----------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, simply send email to: tn-bird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send email to: tn-bird-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Topographical Maps located at http://topozone.com/find.asp * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Tennessee Ornithological Society web site at http://www.tnbirds.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * TN-Bird Net Owner: Wallace Coffey, Bristol, TN jwcoffey@xxxxxxxxxx (423) 764-3958 =========================================================
