³Saturday, May 20 Field trip to Rutherford/Wilson County Area-
Please join us for the NTOS May Field Trip. Chloe Walker will lead the trip
around the beautiful country roads of Rutherford and Wilson Counties. Target
birds are Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, Loggerhead Shrike, Dickcissel,
Grasshopper Sparrow, Lark Sparrow and many others.
We will meet at the Adventure Science Center, 800 Fort Negley Blvd. in the
lower parking in Nashville at 6 a.m. Or if you prefer, at the the Discovery
Center in Murfreesboro, on Hwy 41 (502 E Broad St.), at 7 a.m.. We will be
out half the day. Fast food and bathrooms are available.
Last year we had a large number of both Scissor-tailed Flycatchers and
Loggerhead Shrikes.
