Tn. NWR Duck River Unit-Humphreys County Big Sandy Unit- Benton & Henry Counties Fourteen birders, including two from New York City, shared a memorable outing to Tn. NWR. Our day started and ended chilly, but was warmed in between with lots of good birds and each other's company. About sixty species were seen. Some notables are; Fox, White-crowned and Am. Tree Sparrows, Red-breasted and Hooded Mergansers, Greater White-fronted and Snow Geese, Common Goldeneye, Canvasback, Pintail and Ruddy ducks. Gary Casey Kingston Springs, Tn.
