Tom,
You need to include the email thread when you reply to a message.
Remove the small signal board. Using a heat gun or butane torch, 'reflow' to 
solder on the connectors for
the cables.
Use contact cleaner(non-residue type) in the slots for the ribbon cables. This 
worked on one set that I
had.

I also have an ITC222 in shop for repair.  Unit under warranty, was at another 
shop (tech there gave up on
it, smart fellow). Anyway, have removed crt boards, disconneted connectors 
listed in "circuit overview",
shorted B-E of TV852 and still no dice.  Pulses 3 times but turns off so fast I 
can't locate trouble. b+
good, verified by lifting C of horz xstr and shorting B-E of TP210.  I welcome 
any ideas or suggestions.
