Tom, You need to include the email thread when you reply to a message. Remove the small signal board. Using a heat gun or butane torch, 'reflow' to solder on the connectors for the cables. Use contact cleaner(non-residue type) in the slots for the ribbon cables. This worked on one set that I had. Unit under warranty, was at another shop (tech there gave up on it, smart fellow). Anyway, have removed crt boards, disconneted connectors listed in "circuit overview", shorted B-E of TV852 and still no dice. Pulses 3 times but turns off so fast I can't locate trouble. b+ good, verified by lifting C of horz xstr and shorting B-E of TP210. I welcome any ideas or suggestions.
