Berry,
There's no such thing as a dumb question (only the ones you don't ask) :-)
I just looked at historical GPS data LZ's for the area.
As it turns out, it may vary by the field.
Usually, we face North or South, so the sun will be on your left or right
side and v.v. in the afternoon.
