LOL, okay then put your 57 Oval back to stock height.  Also put your baja back down to stock height instead of being up in the air... no modifications allowed, never...


It's a look, it's a style and it's their bus but anytime you modify something from original you have compromises from the original design.    Narrowed, lowered beams ride rougher and you affect the suspension and steering geometry.  Drop Spindles give you the same ride for a given beam configuration but lower the suspension point.  On a stock beam you drop 2 1/2 inches (for K/L knuckle swaps)  but in this case the suspension stoppers don't come into effect because the tires will hit first.

As for dragging the beam and the nose... There's a video on raising the steering box that way they could have laid frame like they were probably looking to do in the first place...  Put some titanium plates
and you get the cool sparks too..

Net Net, airbags, A-Arms, knuckle jobs, they're all modifications that should be done with caution and the best parts and installation you can afford otherwise you'll be on youtube.

The real answer is:  DON'T LOWER THE FREAKIN BUS!  Did you hear the story about the man and his wife from Sequin on the way to TP4?  Their lowered bus with dropped spindles and an adjustable narrowed beam:  Driving along the highway the adjusters apparently came loose, the nose of the bus dropped, the front tires locked up on the fender wells, and they went skidding down the highway with no steering and the front end supported only by the steering box grinding along on the pavement.  Made me want to run home and lower all my busses.

shocks won't fix that issue.  That's the bump stops not coming into
play.  

If you have a narrowed or aftermarket beam (like me) you watch for the bumps. 
I'm actually thinking of fabing up
a couple of bump stops to work on my wagenswest beam.  In Dallas there's
too many )(*)(*#@! dips, potholes and everything
so I always hear the squeel of the tires.
