You join your local club. You volunteer. You EARN the friendship and trust
of those whose success you'd like to emulate. You become a sponge.
Eventually, if you have the right accommodations for a dog and can afford to
campaign one, someone will trust you with a good one. You DON'T become
over-dogged
and for goodness sakes, you DON'T preach. You keep confidences.
