The clubs do ask the judges, and they ask breeders who have to say "no" because
they are not eligible. This year I was asked by two futuriy clubs and last
year I was asked by two futurity clubs if I would allow my name to be
considered by their club to judge their futurity. I had to tell all of them
that I was not eligible, even though I have:

It would be nice if all clubs did talk to the judges before they turned their
names in. I was quite shocked when I got a contract from Tish this year to have
my name put in for juding a futurity- No club had ever approached me. If they
had they would have known I do not judge futurities and they could have added a
different person to their list
