doesn't matter Sally,,,,i contacted all my judges and they didn't even send
in their contracts therefore we are looking for someone eligible to be
alternates for the SE.
I have tried my very hardest to stay away from AKC judges,,,,,,,not because
they aren't good enough, but because everyone shows to them all year. They
have already been out there judging most of their entry at the AKC shows
they have judged. You lose entries who haven't won under them at those
shows.
But quite frankly it has left us with little to no choices for alternates
because of the match requirements everyone seems to lack,,,,,,,even if they
have bred umpteen champions and been in the breed for years..............
I feel very fortunate that our judge for the SE futurity is a very respected
previous AKC judge who hasn't judged in quite some time, so people can take
a chance and enter not feeling he has already defeated their entry at a show
somewhere else.
