I'm fairly sure* that if you built the document using Adobe FrameMaker,
so that the Timeline was in its own 'text flow',
and created a tagged PDF with Adobe Distiller, that would make a PDF where a screen
reader would follow the Timeline fine


* well, a bit sure ;) I've never actually had to make a document like that for my dayjob, but it's a standard requirement for things like newspapers and magazines, where articles
flow in columns to other pages.

Not that I'm suggesting spending the time doing such a thing, of course! ;)
Just pedantically noting that it is possible.

(And before anyone mentions it, I KNOW that the Timeline is not accessible to any screen reader software; but it would be impossible to make that work in any logical way, since the timeline stretches over two pages /twice/!)
