No, but you have to tell someone exactly what is required for a free licence. so what's required?

Usually at the top of all source code you will usually see come copy right info or licencing info...
As well as the author's name and revision...

If the scripts could be compiled somehow in a non-modifiable file, then they don't need to be public source, but otherwise...

I think they are better with the code available to us... Ok, but whatever...
I was just saying it wasn't gpl...
