Yes - as I mentioned below, I had run cleanUp! - I didn't
delete my prefetch files though. I will be doing that now. I
also run version 3.12 - not the newer version. And I'm
positive they are spyware. I've also googled it. I've
removed it umteen times and it comes back - so there is
something on here re-creating it. I get pop ups non-stop.
I'm going to follow the suggestions that Chris made - I've
printed them out - and I'm going to cross my fingers that
they work!
I am currently running a program that I found on a forum
that was suggested - but I don't know if it is free or not -
it said it was, but another one they suggested that they
said was free, and it wasn't. Nope! not free!
I'm going to re-boot and do all of this other stuff now!

haven't YET, try some homework on google. Research whatever
is bothering

Please read the entire email for my problems! Also - please
don't tell me to get rid of internet explorer.
I am infected with spyware. I am getting non-stop internet
explorer pop ups.
I have scanned with norton online - panda online - microsoft
anti-spyware - adaware - I deleted a file in hijackThis -
Pest patrol - it used to be really good, but I think it is
corrupted. It didnt' find it, and it is supposed to.
microsoft finds it and deletes it and it is right back. I
don't have anything in add/remove and I don't have any extra
things appearing on the top of my internet explorer.

I've run cleanUP! also - and manually tried to delete a file
from my regular temp folder - and it won't delete.
Can I get to that one in safe mode?
I haven't been so frustrated in ages!!!
