I had done that and they didn't find it - I found a free spyware doctor and ran it yesterday. It found some things that it removed - None were called newdot, but my microsoft anti-spyware didn't find it last night - so I'm crossing my fingers that something that it removed was causing the problem. I'll scream tomorrow if it is back after the scan tonight.
