Cristy,
    There may be a latch located on the back of the case that releases the 
cover.  It would most likely be right up against the side of the case that 
opens (left or right, depending), somewhere near the middle (height) of the 
tower.  If you're able to get in and assuming you conduct this transfer on 
the floor, place the old drive on a clean wash cloth on top of a small 
cardboard box or other non-conducting object to keep it at least 2 inches 
above the floor.  This will help isolate the old drive from any static that 
may reside in the floor diring the data transfer.            :O)
