HAve you tried opening the header.tmp file using NOTEPAD to see if you can 
fiond any clues in there as to what's creating it?

     I have one called Header.tmp that defies removal or clues to its nativity. 
   I delete it and a short while later, it appears again. And, I have NEVER 
  stored doc or email files on the desktop!
