My sis lives in Tucson and she woke up to snow one Easter Morning - No kidding!
I know you guys were about 10 degrees hotter than her when I was there this
summer but I suspect you could get snow too.

Where we're building the new house (North Scottsdale - Desert Mountain) or main
floor is at 3150 feet above sea level. When Phoenix is 116 in mid-summer, we
rarely get over 100 and have a wonderful breeze each afternoon. In the winter,
though, we have some rather cool days. I'm told we may get one day a year where
there is a dusting of snow....but I've never seen it. When it's chilly on the
mountain, we drive into Phoenix to play golf
