The only thing wrong with this theory is that in the morning when I first start up Bellsouth, and download my email, then it downloads fine, but if at any time during the day I get cut off line, I cannot get back on and receive even one message. When it starts to download, immediately it disconnects. I have talked for at least three hours with my ISP and they finally told me it is my modem. But if I go and connect with Netzero, I can get on line and download my messages from my yvonne38@xxxxxxxxxxxxx address. But I can't figure out how to configure it to send from my Bellsouth address on Netzero, I have configured it exactly the way NZ has on their help page. I have to disconnect NZ and get back on Bellsouth and if I don't have any messages coming in to disconnect me, then I can send from Bellsouth. And I know that I am configured right with them, because in the morning I can both receive and send. Just if for some reason I get disconnected, then and only then, do I have problems. I just can't imagine it being my modem. If it is because the modem is hot or the computer is hot, then why can I get on NZ and it works fine? Argh, I'm stumped.
