I was just thinking in terms of color coding - without writing with it. Like paint an inch of the wire on each end a specific color - you'd still need the tape with the label, but the tape wouldn't necessarily have to be different colors.... ----- Original Message ----- From: Sharon To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2003 8:38 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Cables and wires Nail polish is great. I use it to label my kids' black calculators for school. Too much theft there -- the name is big and prominent, and doesn't chip off easily at all, I guess since calculators don't grow like nails do <g>. It's hard to write small with the brush though, a problem if you're labelling wires. I know I have a ton of colors here from my daughter when she thought it was 'cool' !! | It might peel off though - I've no clue! | I'm losing track of who had what ideas now! | | crisS To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk To unsub or change your email settings: //www.freelists.org/webpage/pctechtalk To access our Archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PCTechTalk/messages/ //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/ For more info: //www.freelists.org/cgi-bin/list?list_id=pctechtalk
