Interesting! I have mailing labels - You could put colors on them too - or color code the printing - larger labels could be just cut with scissors to be used on one cord! Just put the information on the label as many times as you need or it fits! I do a newsletter, and I always have a few non used labels on each mailing! Great ideas! crisS ----- Original Message ----- From: Foxhillers@xxxxxxx To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, September 08, 2003 12:56 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Cables and wires In a message dated 9/8/03 12:42:28 PM Eastern Daylight Time, carnealr@xxxxxxxxxxxx writes: > What I did was go to Office Depot and pick up a box of Video Tape labels. > It is wasteful on my part- I only used the long spine label. > > Then using Word, I just pulled up that label and typed whatever, but forced > it to stay on the ends. > Example: > _____________________________________________ > | Monitor......................................................Monitor| > | One................................................................One| > |Power...........................................................Power| > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- > - > > When folded over a cable/cord, it is very readable no matter which "side" > you read.
