Every system is different in terms of drive letters. And, in WinXP, you can 
actually change it to your liking. So what may me the D drive for you could be 
the E drive for another.

  When I burn from CD to CD I put the one being copied in the D: drive and
  the one being burned in the E: drive. but I have only done that once...I
  ever only burn from computer files to CD in E: drive.
