Sorry for the confusion you might have: I am not having a standby on the same
server
as the primary. Two databases in Server A will be replicated to Server B via
Data Guard.

Subject: two databases in a server
Hi List,
What is the best practice for installing two 9i instance in a Solaris 10
environment?
No zones or containers. Any white paper or website on this?
Also, where do I get the evaluation software (9i Enterprise Edition) - we are
planning
on Data Guard.
Thanks,
Roger
