[optacon-l] Re: What the Optacon can do!

I have been using my optacon with various screens for years.
Some work well and others are more iffy.
Sometimes with laptop screens I have had to put my finger tip out past the
end of the CRT lens so the lens is held about 1/4 inch away from the screen.
This lets some of the ambient light get in for the contrast.
Also, setting the screen brightness high will sometimes help.
Make sure that you don't press too hard on the screen because that can cause
it to deform a fraction and cause blurring.

In a brief nutshell that's what I do for best results with screens.

Finally, I haven't played around with the new plasma, or LCD screens in the
flat screen monitors.
